Music by the Sea

Celebrate summer with an afternoon and evening of music from four different bands, offering sounds to suit every taste. Camden Rotary Club presents Music by the Sea at the Rockport Opera House, one of many festivities in Camden during the Midcoast Festival of Independence. Free admission. Refreshment sales will benefit charities that serve local youth. Antique cars will parade through downtown Camden and arrive on Atlantic Avenue by 1:30 p.m. to help kick off the concert.  

Program:

2:00 pm – 3:15 pm  The Muellers – Maine’s best family bluegrass band

3:30 pm – 4:15 pm   The Midcoast Community Band – Marches, Broadway, and popular tunes

5:00 pm – 6:15 pm    Reina del Cid – A spirited folk rock group from Minneapolis

7:30 pm – 9:00 pm    David Dodson and The Lowdown, featuring John and Rachel Nicolas  –  Event headliner, local musician and singer songwriter David Dodson, has shared the stage with some of the nation’s best artists. This performance will precede Camden’s spectacular fireworks.
